The process of comparing two face images to determine if they belong to the same person. AI-powered face matching converts each face into a numerical 'embedding' — a vector of 128-512 numbers that represents the face's unique geometric properties. Two faces are considered a match when their embeddings are sufficiently similar, measured by cosine similarity or Euclidean distance.
